The Perfect Gift {Stocking Stuffers for Him}

Remember on Monday how I showed you some great stocking stuffers that you (and I) would love to have? Well today, I'm bringing you some stocking stuffers for the man in your life! With the help of R, I have constructed a list any man is bound to love. Here it goes!

{1} Mini Bottles of Liquor: Don't ask me why, but R insists this is the perfect stocking stuffer. Whatever liquor may be your guy's favorite, buy a few, through them in and he is bound the jump across the living room on Christmas morning to hug you!

{2} Star Wars Trilogy on BluRay: Now you can watch what some would say is the greatest movie of all time in high definition!

{3} J.Crew Boxers: Okay so I know your guy probably does not enjoy opening up new boxers on Christmas morning, but these (and all the others from J.Crew) are just so cute. In fun prints and colors, these are the perfect thing to add a little pop of necessity and fashion to an otherwise very manly stocking!

{4} Lotto Tickets: The second favorite item R finds in his stocking every year. Apparently it's "awesome" to scratch off the possibility of winning money!

{5} Cigars: The last manly treat of the day. Not only are cigars the perfect size to wrap up and stuff stockings with, they are a little indulgence that I will never buy R unless for Christmas or his birthday.

Have you all bought your stocking stuffers yet? What are you stuffing with?!

The Perfect Gift {Stocking Stuffers for Her}

I always love opening my stocking on Christmas morning. It's filled with lots of little goodies such as new nail polishes, my favorite treats, and gift cards. But, stockings are also great for stuffing with brightly printed accessories and even some necessities. Here are my suggestions for some chic stuffers...

{1} Gift Cards: I always love getting gift cards because it gives me an excuse to go into my favorite stores and over spend. One of my favorites to get an iTunes card. I can finally download all of the songs I've been meaning to download for months!

{2} Tory Burch Leopard Gloves: I would love to find these in my stocking! Warm, functional, and chic, these are the perfect balance between necessity and want.

{3} Essie Nail Polish: Perfect for replenishing the stock after a year of using those dried out goopy colors!

{4} J.Crew Multi Color Bangles: What girl doesn't like finding jewelry? These are great for mixing and matching and for stuffing into stockings!

{5} Sara Happ Lip Slip: My absolute favorite lip gloss! A little goes a long way with this gloss so the tub lasts forever. And not to mention the gloss stays on for such a long time, there is no need to reapply every 10 minutes.

{6} Jonathan Adler Umbrella: What a way to brighten up a gray day! The print and colors on this umbrella are ones she is bound to love!

The Perfect Gift {The Traveler}

Another day, another gift guide. But this one I must say is one of my favorites all about the perfect gift for the explorer. Travel can be difficult. There are so many things to remember in order to be comfortable while on your adventure. You have to consider what you will need to leave the country, to be comfortable during your stay, and of course what you'll need in order to remember the amazing trip you are on. But, no worries, I've laid it all out for you in today. Here are my top travel gift picks!

{1} Journal: A picture is worth a thousand words, yes. But a picture can't capture the same emotion of the moment, taste of the food, or names of the people you meet like a journal can. It's a must keep in my travel bag to record all of the funny happenings, sayings, places I would recommend to others, and memories of my adventure. A true must for any traveler.

{2} Lug Life Pillow Blanket Set: This 2-in-1 pillow blanket set is a necessity. Planes can be cold, and the pillows are never comfortable. Since lugging the large pillow from your bed is not always an option, this is perfect for sleeping on long flights or on airport floors in case of delayed travel.

{3} Alternative Duffle: A duffle is a great bag to travel with. It's typically the perfect size if you decide to carry your bag on and durable enough to be checked. My little travel secret is that I always fold and stash an extra duffle in my suitcase just in case I buy too many treasures on my trip. This way, I can stuff the bag with gifts and carry it on with me!

{4} Eye Mask: It's happened to everybody. You are on a plane, or maybe even a train, and the passenger sitting next to you has the light on to read or you are getting blinded by the glare of the in flight movie, both of which make it a little difficult to sleep. An eye mask is great because it blocks out any unwanted light making it easier to rest up before the big adventure. Plus, this one looks like Holly Golightly's in "Breakfast at Tiffany's"!

{5} Kate Spade Passport Cover: Necessary? No. But it does help to preserve the life of your passport if you use it a lot. Plus this one is just incredibly cute!

The Perfect Gift {The Scholar}

The scholar. If your scholar is as smart and dedicated to studying as mine is, you know how hard it is to find the perfect gift. So today, I have rounded up five gifts your scholar is bound to love!

{1} Crate and Barrel Desk Lamp: The extra light is always necessary, and with 2 lamp heads, they can point the light where ever it is needed most. Plus, this one is so chic and modern, it will add a smart design element to any office.

{2} Marie Antoinette Bookends: Quirky and fun with a purpose. They add a bit of smart humor to the bookshelf.

{3} Jack Spade Leather Briefcase: Gorgeous, smart, and practical. A briefcase is the perfect gift that a scholar would never dream of purchasing for themselves. The brown textured leather screams "I'm even smarter than I am stylish" and makes the backpack look like child's play.

{4} Old Fashioned Notebooks: Skip the computer for class. Lectures are better comprehended when you are listening to the material and actually taking the time to write the notes instead of mindlessly typing them.

{5} O'Neil for Phillips Headphones: The library is supposed to be a quite place but it never quite is. Turn on some study tunes and drown out the background ramble with noise canceling headphones.

Happy Gift Giving! xo

The Perfect Gift {Lover of Outdoor Living}

With such gorgeous weather in Florida almost all year round, outdoor living is just as important as indoor living. But that's not just true in the Sunshine State. So, this holiday season, give the gift of gorgeous outdoor accessories to the lover of outdoor living in your life! Here are 5 of my favorite outdoor options.

{1} Rope Tree Swing: Bringing back memories of childhood right? Even if you don't have kids, this tree swing would make an amazing addition to any backyard. Personally, I would still swing on it!

{2} Seed Bombs: These seed bombs were first made to improve run down urban areas in Cincinnati, but now they come in packs specific to your area of the country. The best part is all you have to do is throw and grow, as they say. The seeds are already surrounded by soil and worm compound. Perfect for a non green thumb like me. Plus, the packaging is incredibly cute!

{3} Ceramic Fire Bowl: Hello gorgeous! I love how chic and modern this fire pit is. The color is gorgeous and I love the river stones surrounding the flame. Since this fire bowl runs off of gel fuel instead of logs, no smoke blowing around or lingering fire smell!

{4} Wine Barrel Cooler: This item really needs no explanation. It's a cooler made out of a previously used white oak wine barrel. Perfect.

{5} York Sofa: This high back teak sofa is great for lounging around. Fill it with pillows, grab a book and cocktail, and relax!

The Perfect Gift {The Entertainer}

Every Christmas I always ask for the same things. New clothes, gift certificates, and electronics. But, my favorite thing under the tree is always great pieces for entertaining. Nothing makes me happier than unwrapping a chic little serving tray or a well designed wine decanter. It seems that over the years, all the pieces have began to look about the same. But this year, retailers are raising the bar. Here are 5 amazingly designed pieces that every entertainer will love to unwrap...

{1} Anthropologie Beverage Dispenser: Between the interesting shape and the rustic lid, I'm dying over this beverage dispenser. I've been eyeing it for months now and I'm hoping to add it to my collection of serving pieces ASAP.

{2} Slate Cheese Board:  This slate cheese board from Terrain is ultra chic and modern. My favorite part though is you can label the cheeses with chalk!

{3} Tasting Decanters: These tasting decanters are great for a wine tasting party. Each one is labeled and shaped for a specific type of wine. The set includes decanters for a merlot, cabernet, pinot grigio, and chardonnay.

{4} Tasting Plates: I love snacking on bread and dipping oils. But everyone seems to have a preference on dipping flavor. This plate will make everybody at your party happy. With four dipping dishes, you can put out everything from bruschetta to olive oil and balsamic vinegar to oil with dried herbs at the same time.

{5} Whisky Stone Glasses: During the winter months, I love a good whisky drink. But, I hate when the  ice melts and dilutes the drink. These glasses made of soapstone and just need to be put in the freezer 4 hours before entertaining. When you are ready to fix a drink, skip the ice, grab a glass, pour a drink, and enjoy! These glasses are great for more than just whisky too. Try sipping vodka or any other spirit out of these chic glasses.

The Perfect Gift {The Fashionista}

If you ask me, it's pretty easy to shop for the fashionista. But, I know it can be rather difficult for many. Just ask my family. I have apparently become so difficult to shop for, that for the past 5-10 years, I have been picking out and purchasing my own gifts from family members. Really, the only surprise gift I've gotten in the past 10 years was my golf clubs from my dad about 3 years ago. And well, my necklace from R last year. But moving on, here are some enviable pieces every fashionista would love to see under the tree!

{1} Marc Jacobs Polka Dot Scarf: I would die if I opened up this cashmere and silk blend scarf on Christmas morning. Talk about to die. In black and white, it's the perfect combination of fun and classic!

{2} Talbots Sequin Blazer: It really needs not description. Talk about gorgeous.

{3} Rose Gold Michael Kors Watch: While this watch does come in silver and gold too, I love the rose gold for an updated version of a classic. Rose gold is much softer than traditional gold, and for those who don't like mixing silver and gold, it is a great color to start with. Rose gold will go with either the silver or gold pieces lying in your jewelry box.

{4} Cole Haan Leather and Cashmere Gloves: Gloves are one of those things that everybody needs but everybody hates buying. I know I do. But nothing is better than an incredibly nice pair of gloves. They are just as important in cold weather as your jewels are when it's warm.

{5} Tory Burch Leopard Messenger Bag: Leopard is huge this year. But, animal prints are also a classic in my book. This bag will add the perfect pop to any look!

{6} Kendra Scott Tyler Necklace: Kendra Scott can do no wrong when it comes to jewelry design in my book, and this statement necklace is the perfect example. I love wearing a simple outfit and spicing it up with a big statement piece. I've been dreaming of this piece for a while now. Trust me, any fashionista would love to open this on Christmas morning!

The Perfect Gift {The Tech Lover}

If you are as technologically challenged as me, finding the perfect gift for the tech lover in your life can be nothing but an uphill battle. I know it is for me! But no worries, this year I'm giving five gifts that are beyond cool, even for someone like me! Here they are...

{1} Pop! Handset: This gold receiver will plug into your phone (it works on any phone, not just a smart phone) or laptop to make talking on your cell or on Skype a little bit more enjoyable!

{2} Apple TV: My personal obsession. It will allow you to wirelessly stream movies, TV shows, music, and pictures from your iTunes to your TV. Not only can stream movies and TV shows from Netflix, you can rent movies and TV shows through iTunes and stream them directly on your TV.

{3} Sony Full HD Camcorder and Projector: This 32 GB will allow you to record videos then immediately project them on to any surface. Pretty sweet!

{4} Grace Audio Victorian Radio: Not as old school as you may think. It is actually a Wi-Fi Internet Radio. It has full built in Pandora Radio capabilities, an iPhone remote app, can hook up to your home stereo system, and so much more!

{5} Telephoto Phone Lenses:  These are 3 lenses that magnetically attach to any phone (not just a smart phone!) to transform your cell phone camera into a professional camera. Three lenses come in the pack and transform your phone lens into Fisheye, Macro, and Wide Angle lenses. Pretty cool if you ask me!
