The Happiest Hour {St. Germain Sangria}
I feel like with the amount of St. Germain I've been using in drinks lately, I've become quite the spokesperson for the elderflower liqueur. While I am nothing of the sort, I do love using it in as many cocktail creations as possible. My newest favorite libation using the sweet treat is a white wine sangria that really can't get any easier. With only four ingredients, I like this sangria because it can be made on the fly to impress guests who pop by with little notification. It's lightness and mild sweetness also guarantee to please most who drink it. Here's the mix up...
:: Ingredients ::
1 750ml Bottle Sauvignon Blanc
2 Cups St. Germain
3 Nectarines, sliced
Soda Water
Ice
:: Directions ::
(1) Combine Sauvignon Blanc and St. Germain in a pitcher with the slices of 2 nectarines
(2) Serve immediately or allow to chill for 1 hour.
(3) Pour over ice, top with soda water and garnish with nectarine slices

The Happiest Hour {Blue Ginny}
It's taken over a year, and many a recipes, but finally I have come up with the Events Uncorked signature cocktail. I'm not quite sure why I didn't come up with it sooner, but maybe I was just putting a bit too much thought into it. It's a refreshing combination of mint, blueberries, St. Germain, gin, and soda water that makes for one delicious sipper. So, without further ado, here's the recipe for the Events Uncorked Blue Ginny...
:: Ingredients :: (Makes 6 Cocktails)
3 Cups Fresh Blueberries
30 Mint Leaves, plus more for garnish
6 oz. St. Germain
6 oz. Bombay Gin
3 Cups Soda Water
Ice
:: Directions ::
1. In a pitcher combine fresh blueberries and mint leaves and muddle.
2. Pour in St. Germain, Gin, and Soda Water stirring to combine
3. Serve immediately over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with Mint Leaves and enjoy!

Lusting After {Afternoon Cocktails}
When I started this blog, I promised to myself to always be honest with you. I would never share something that I didn't think wasn't truly inspiring or beautiful. So, to keep my promise, today I must admit all I'm really lusting after right now is afternoon cocktails. Sitting in the sun, relaxing with a fruity, refreshing cocktails sounds like paradise. My philosophy is that life is all about celebrating the little moments. It doesn't have to be a birthday, graduation, or wedding to throw a soiree. Celebrate an accomplishment at work, finally cleaning the house, or just simply making it through the week. Enjoy time with friends and love ones, take a deep breath, and pour up a cocktail. In the spirit of the post, I'm giving you the recipe to my favorite cocktail...enjoy!
:: Ingredients ::
1 part St. Germain
1 part Gin
3 parts soda water
Lime Wedge
:: Directions ::
Pour all ingredients over ice in a rocks glass. Stir and serve with a lime wedge. Be sure not to shake as the soda water will foam and explode.
Cheers!

All Mixed Up {St. Germain Gin and Tonic}
Time to mix up the cocktails, the new year is coming! Skip the champagne this year (well maybe not all together...) and pour up some gin. One of my new favorite cocktails is a St. Germain Gin and Tonic. If you haven't had a St. Germain, it's a French elderflower liqueur that is so light and refreshing, it's perfect to mix with gin (or even champagne). Here's the recipe...
:: St. Germain Gin and Tonic ::
{1} part St. Germain
{2} parts Gin
Top with tonic and a squeeze of lemon
Stir and serve over ice.
Enjoy!
