Every Thanksgiving the table gets set with golden brown roasted turkey, bright orange yams, gorgeous green brussel sprouts, and an unappetizing lump of cranberry sauce. While the look of the sauce is not that appealing, the color is quite perfect for the season. The brightness of the deep red truly sets the holiday feel of the day and compliments the natural rustic tones of the season. The perfect holiday table for me would be last week’s shade of wheat mixed with the cheery cranberry and neutral navy. The combination could start with your Thanksgiving table and carry through the holiday season by adding in appropriate tones of hunter green. Add in a few metallic tones and you will be set for the season!

The Happiest Hour {White Christmas Sangria}
One of my favorite parts about the holiday season is all of the fancy fantastical holiday parties. With spirited soirees galore, it's rude to show up empty handed. But, showing up with another candle seems thoughtless. While a nice bottle of wine or liquor is always an option, this year mix it up (literally!) by surprising your hostess with bottle of white cranberry sangria. Filled with holiday flavors like cranberry and pomegranate, it's got just the right amount of flavor and fizz for all to enjoy. So grab a glass and get ready to pour, here's the recipe.
:: Ingredients ::
750 ml White Wine
2 Cups Cranberry Pomegranate Juice
1/2 Cup Fresh Cranberries
1 Apple, sliced thin
Soda Water
:: Directions ::
1. Combine wine, cranberry pomegranate juice, fresh cranberries, and apple slices in a pitcher. Refrigerate for one hour or until ready to serve.
2. Serve over ice and top with splash of soda water.

All Mixed Up {Cranberry Ginger Fizz}
Every holiday party requires a holiday cocktail. If you read "This Party Inspired By {Cranberry}" a couple weeks ago, you know that cranberry is not only the perfect holiday shade, but the perfect holiday flavor. With this cocktail's vibrant red color and accent of lime, it's colored appropriately, and incredibly delicious. Here's what you'll need for this festive libation...
(Because I don't measure drinks and go by taste, this measurements will not be exact.)
{1} Equal parts cranberry juice and ginger ale
{2} Gin to taste
{3} Lime wedge
Combine ingredients, shake, pour, and enjoy!

This Party Inspired By {Cranberry}
Today I bring to you another Thanksgiving inspiration. What is Thanksgiving without the cranberry sauce? Although I am not the biggest fan of cranberry sauce, I am a fan of it's color. That deep pinky red color is absolutely gorgeous. It's the perfect shade for any holiday soiree. Plus, it will carry through the season. While the shade is most seen on Thanksgiving tables, it would be great for Christmas decorating as well. Stings of cranberries on your tree or in the base of a hurricane would be lovely.
Who's getting excited for Thanksgiving next week? Are you a fan of cranberry sauce or do you just like the color like me?
