It's hard to believe it's already November. It honestly seems like just yesterday we were soaking up the summer sun and taking every opportunity we could get to head to the beach. However, with those days far behind us, it's finally time to accept the fact that it will be another couple of months before I can head outside without piling on layers of clothing. The one good thing this means though is that it's finally holiday season. Next to summer, this is my favorite time of the year. Spirits are typically brighter and strangers are much nicer. While work gets busier this time of year for me, it always seems that I take more advantage of days off by baking, preparing for upcoming guests, and hosting spirited gatherings with friends.
