Hello! It's simple. Today's Social Graces doesn't exactly require much explanation. Say hello to others. It doesn't matter if you know them or not. It doesn't matter if you are passing them on the street or walking through a restaurant door or checking out at the grocery store. Say hello. It's just polite. And nice. And makes people feel welcome wherever they are.

This is so true and I wish people would do this more. I remember growing up- people said hello no matter where you were. If you passed them, they would say hi, restaurants, parks, even driving by (people would wave). Nowadays, it's like pulling teeth.
