I was in an antique shop a couple of years ago and stumbled upon a big bucket full of hundreds of vintage keys. They were all sitting there like someone had just thrown them all away and I kept thinking there had to be something they could be used for. I bought a couple and made them into necklaces, but always wondered what other ways they could be repurposed. Recently it dawned on me that they would be a lovely vintage touch at a wedding. What's so perfect is they are so small and subtle, you could use them in 100 places and people wouldn't think you were having a key themed soiree. Tie them on escort cards, centerpieces, menu cards, and what ever else you can think of. You could even attach one to a key loop and make a vintage inspired key chain for your guests!

Do Me a Favor
Favors at parties are a must. But what's not is a bad favor. I know I know it sounds a little bratty. But, have you ever been to a wedding or a party and received an engraved picture frame with the bride and groom's names and their wedding date? Or better yet, a pashmina with the wedding date stitched on it? If you have you know what I'm talking about. When will you ever use a picture frame with someone else's wedding date or a pashmina with a date stitched on it? Most likely, never.
Instead, give guests a favor they can really use with a removable gift tag. You can still print a nice little thank you message and your wedding date, and guests have the option of removing it upon getting home. Some great options are planted herbs, candles, mini bottles of champagne or wine, or even a candy bar to-go bag.
