This Party Inspired By {Lace}

I love the detailing of lace. It's so intricate, dainty, traditional, and not to mention just pretty. Ever since I was little, I have had this fascination with all lace dresses, and upon stumbling upon this cake, I've realized that lace can have many other gorgeous purposes besides a dress! I mean, please check out how amazing those bowls are and how purely simple the lace table runner is! I hear from a lot of my friends that they think lace is old looking and kind of dated. I obviously think it's gorgeous! What do you think? Should your grandmother's vintage lace stay in the past or make an appearance at your next party?

This Week I Feel...Pretty in Pink

So pretty, bright, and fun right? I got my original inspiration for today from the gorgeous pink hydrangeas I picked up the other day.  While I don't naturally gravitate towards the color, I have recently been craving to add hints of the vibrant shade everywhere! Try splashing it into flowers, cakes, drinks, linens, and even lighting. My personal opinion of pink, have it be your primary color and not mix it with others.  It's best used with neutrals when trying to make it a little more sophisticated and modern. How do you feel about pink?
