Lusting After {Food Trucks}

If you remember, I posted earlier in the week about food truck parties. I'm so enthralled with this phenomenon and just can't seem to get over how...cool...it is. So, yesterday, R and I ventured out to Tallahassee's own Food Truck Thursdays. Surprisingly, Tallahassee is up on the food truck trend and we couldn't be more thrilled. We took the food truck hub and sampled all that we could. Jumping from truck to truck, we tried everything from inventive grilled cheeses to pulled pork and Greek tacos. We finished off our foodie tour with a sampling of chocolate vodka and sangria cupcakes from Lucy & Leo's Cupcakery. While we didn't make it to each truck, the food possibilities are endless and there is no stop to our attendance any time in the near future. If I wasn't sold on food trucks catering every event before, I sure am now. That was quite possibly some of the best food I've ever had....

Foodie Vibe

It's very rare that something at an event catches my eye and makes me say "Wow". But this new food truck trend has me in awe of the laid back and fun vibe it puts off. Talk about putting food stations to shame. Having multiple food trucks at your reception will allow guests to pick and choose what they want from each truck. Want to really make an impact? Have a different truck show up for each course, one for appetizers, another couple for dinner, a third for dessert, and lastly a late night snack. This nontraditional concept will blow guests away and will make your event the one to top!
