Destination Dream {Italian Vineyard}

This past weekend we were home in Jacksonville for a family gathering. Like most families, gatherings tend to spark conversation of memories and fun times. One of our favorite family memories was a trip we took to Italy about six years ago. The whole family, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents included, stayed in the most amazing old farm house located on this working vineyard. The views were to die for and we had the most spectacular time. Little did I know, another adventure to Italy is already in the works. With excitement taking over, I have spent nothing but the last two days Googling all to do in Italy. Even though this will be my fourth trip, I'm a bit older now and wanting more than ever to explore what the region has to offer. So, as I bask in the excitement of our impending trip, I thought I would share with you some images of the most amazing vineyard weddings from Italy. Just a little something to make you wish you were in a far away land today sipping on a glass of wine and noshing on cheese and homemade breads.

Have an adventurous Tuesday!

Destination Dream {Napa Valley}

I vote we all drop what we are doing immediately and take a group trip to Napa Valley. Who's with me? Think how nice it would be to spend the afternoon touring vineyards and sampling some of the world's best wines. Now, as amazing as that sounds, imagine doing it surrounded by family and friends on the biggest day of your life. After much research, Napa is starting to top my list of destinations I would love to attend a weekend gathering. A rehearsal in the tasting room followed by a ceremony among the vines sounds like a dream. Continue the fun with dinner al fresco under the stars and a night of dancing.

Doesn't this sound like the most amazing weekend?

All Mixed Up {Vineyard Wedding}

I'm fully aware that this is not a cocktail, but this wedding is inspired by all time favorite drink, wine! Thus, it totally fits under this category. Kinda. Anyways, like any girl, I've been planning my wedding since I was little. Clearly I don't want the same wedding I wanted when I was five. Now, I'm dreaming of a gorgeous vineyard wedding. Being surrounded by vines of ripe grapes, maybe sipping on our own special blend of grapes, what could be better? Plus, as the weather continues to improve and be less stupid hot, it would be amazingly gorgeous to spend an afternoon and evening outside enjoying friends and family at my happiest place on earth (You know after 21 the happiest place on earth changes from DisneyWorld to some place where you are surrounded by tons of adult beverages.)!
