Destination Dream {South Africa}

Now, this is a real dream! Imagine a gorgeous wedding in the grasslands of the wildlife park. Natural elements and exotic animals surrounding you as you sip amazing South African wines. All I've done is write about it for mere minutes and I'm already pricing out tickets! Imagine what a wonderful experience it would be for guests as well. Tours of wineries and safaris could entertain them for days. And, with a nearby coast they could relax on the beaches while not exploring the natural wildlife. Decor could go one way or another. I love the idea of doing black and white tribal prints, handmade centerpieces and serving utensils from local tribes, and natural tall grasses. The other option, keep it neutral with manly native tall grasses and pops of green leaves. Either way, you can't go wrong with a South African soiree!

Destination Dream {The Bahamas}

In honor of my last day in paradise, I wanted to give you a little glimpse into how amazing it would to host a soiree on one of the many islands of The Bahamas. Imagine sun filled days relaxing with the sand between your toes. Oh, and throwing the biggest party of your life! I'm not quite sure much could be better. Start the celebration with a parade featuring traditional dancers and music. Follow it up with dining beneath the palms and a dancing in the sand. Keep guests cool with custom straw fans made in the islands and cocktails featuring Bahamian flavors. It sure would be the event of a lifetime!

Destination Dream {Sydney}

Hi there! Today I'm taking a mental vacation and I'm off to the land down under. This amazing local is full of sunshine skies, sparkling blue waters, and furry exotic animals. It's a lustrous location for an event to remember. I can just close my eyes and imagine sunny blue skies on a hot day surrounded by family, friends and all the amazing Sydney sights. Entertain guests before your big day with tours of the Opera house, boat rides around the harbor, and a trip to the zoo. All of these activities are bound to get them even more excited about your special day. A trip down a sandy aisle is adorned with loose golden wattles, the national flower of Australia. Add additional accents of yellow with funky table linens or centerpieces. Continue the party with snacks of vegemite on toast, tim tams, jaffas and fresh caught seafood for dinner. Blast Australian folk or country music to carry the party through the night. 

Whether you travel to Sydney for your big day or bring Sydney to you, it's destination inspiration to impress! 

Destination Dream {Ireland}

Hi there! I bet you're wondering what this is all about. I've decided to add another post to the mix all about throwing a dream destination bash. Featuring places from across the globe, Destination Dream will give you tips on planning the perfect destination soiree and teach how to incorporate the culture into your big day and give guest an experience they will truly remember! 

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, we are focusing on Ireland today. This rustic celtic country is perfect if you value tradition, natural beauty, and a good time! Start the experience off by greeting guests with a welcome bag filled with maps of the area, local delicacies , and of course a Guinness and some Irish whisky. Continue the experience by planning lots of fun for guests such as castle tours and traditional dinners filled celtic dancing.  

Next step is the rehearsal dinner. Have some fun and host it in a local pub. Talk about an Irish good time! Host the ceremony amongst the lush green landscape and finish the festivities with a castle reception filled with traditional grub!
