I know Fourth of July was last week, but I've still got the All-American vibe going on over here. When I begin to think of what screams All-American summer, a few things come to mind. Namely, backyard BBQs, seafood on the coast, bold stripes, and gingham checks. Gingham takes me back to my childhood when my mom would adorn tables galore with the checked clothes. I love pairing the red pattern with nautical navy stripes or aqua for a bit of flair. If you don't dare to go big with a full patterned cloth, try adding subtle touches of gingham with cocktail napkins, coasters, or plates. Whether you let gingham take center stage or you use it in a supporting role, it's a must for any All-American get together.
