For Christmas, I got the most beautiful olive wood cutting board. The grain is gorgeous and it's got this amazing color. Ever since it made its home in my kitchen, I've been dreaming of adding wood details everywhere. From rustic dining tables to serving pieces and everything in between, wood touches are the perfect way to bring a natural element into your event. The key though is to not go overboard. Keep the details simple and to a minimum. If you opt to use wood farmhouse tables, stop there. Adding anything else will be a bit overpowering. However, you can always choose to do a few details instead of one big detail like wood serving pieces, place cards, and more!
