All of a sudden, the temperatures have dropped! Yesterday was bitterly cold (for Florida) and today isn't supposed to be much better. When the temperatures drop like this I can't help but want to cuddle up in cozy knits and sit by a warm fire. The chunky pattern is a fall favorite and I wish I incorporated it more into winter gatherings. It's so simple to take the sleeve of an old sweater and slide it over a vase you already own to create a new centerpiece or to use the body of your favorite cable knit that doesn't fit quite right and turn it into a pillow to accent guests chairs. In colors like winter white, gray, and soft blues, chunky knit accents are a perfect compliment to your cold weather gathering.
